Personnel and organization for Fighting Forest Fires:
We have Forest Fire Fighting crews made up of Technicians, Crew Leaders and Crew members. The units and crews are made up of a specialized technician (bilingual), a Crew leader (bilingual) and 20 crew members.
These crews are trained for initial or sustained attack, where each member is trained to operate vehicles, motor pumps and hoses to operate in the road environment.
Our organization for combat is as follows:
Our crews are organized under an Incident Command System (ICS), which allows them, whether in the case of a small fire or a large one, to operate in an organized manner.
There are land and airborne crews
Type 1 Crew Initial and/or sustained attack
Type 2 Liquidation Crews
